Tokushima rests far to the southwest. It's a hidden gem of prefectures.
Tokushima's claim to fame is the Awa Odori Festival. It's the largest dance festival in Japan, attracting 1.3 million people. In spring, head to Mt. Bizan, covered with 1500 cherry trees. You'll be swimming in sakura. Local eats include sudachi, sugata sushi, and Tokushima ramen.
Tokushima has more than we can write about here. So you'll just have to see it yourself.
