If you're used to the nomadic work life, the kind where you work from a coffee shop or other shared space, then Japan can be a rough place.
Space comes at a premium in Japan, Tokyo especially. Most cafe owners will be none too pleased when you camp out at a table for eight hours to work on your laptop. Be ready for the passive-aggressive glaring of a lifetime.
But all's not lost, digital nomad. There are a plethora of places for you in Tokyo. You just have to know where to look.
We went to around a dozen places, then narrowed it down to the ones that meet our criteria for quality. These are the places with a mix of the best environment, food, coffee, drinks, internet speed, and more. Then we just ignored writing about the mediocre-to-bad places coworking spaces entirely.
